Established in 1985, Bangalore University has a department “Centre for Foreign Languages” dedicated to language learners to embrace their passion.
The BCU offers Certificate, Diploma, Higher Diploma, and Advanced Diploma (Regular & Weekend) in various foreign languages. The duration of each course is eight months.
IT professionals and students seem to be the most popular takers for such classes. Besides, the students interested in degree-level programs can pursue the course in German, Japanese, Spanish, and French.
The University is also planning to start a five-year integrated BA and MA in French, Spanish, and German from the academic year 2019-2020. As of today, it offers:
