Many thanks, Sir.
Hi Sir, First of all, i would like to thank you for this wonderful blog.
Based on the information you posted here, i found the Mumbai Confucius university program & enrolled for HSK 5 online program and continuing with it.
Meanwhile, I would like to start learning the Japanese language for my career growth. I am searching for classes in Chennai, and you have mentioned on your website about Hayakawa but would like to check with you, similar to the Mumbai university program. Is there any university program conducted online for Japanese class, whether they take from Basic to an advanced level?
So i can enroll as a whole. If you have any suggestions pls guide me, Sir.
These days, nearly all institutes are conducting online sessions temporarily because of COVID-19. Once things improve, there won’t be such options. Plus, it is not as effective as offline programs. As of now, You can take any online courses that cover beginner’s level, but later, enroll for regular classes.
Can you share your contact details as I am looking for some training in the Japanese language, please?
It is already mentioned along with the institute name. You can also check their websites for the same.
Hello, I am asking this as a teacher and not as a student here. What do you think I should I reply to these institutes as my expected hourly salary to teach Japanese (especially after having lived 2 years in Japan and having an associate degree in Japanese?)
I just wanted to know all your opinions on what’s the trend in India for tutor salary? How much is hourly wage of Japanese tutors who have experience in Japan?
The salary for Japanese instructors varies greatly between INR 500 to 2,000 hourly depending on the competency level, experience, and location. Based on our profile, you can ask 1,000/hour. Initially, you can try to enhance your experience and references through a reasonable fee, and then gradually raise your remuneration.
I am a housewife and currently looking for a career opportunity in the Japanese language. I read your blog and it was very helpful in giving me an insight into the learning of Japanese. Although this particular Blog gives me information on the best centres in Bangalore to learn Japanese, is there an official centre like Goethe or Allianz, certified by the Japanese govt. Thank you
Yes. Associated with the Embassy of Japan, MOSAI and Japan foundation offers Japanese courses in Delhi. Unfortunately, they don’t have centers in Bangalore.
Hi, my daughter is studying in PU commerce. I am looking for Japanese classes having recognition and certification in and around Rajaji Nagar or Basaveshwar Nagar Bengaluru. One more thing, please give me information about the JLPT exams. Please suggest.

I am looking for learning new languages like German, Japanese, French in and around Rajajinagar.
It is better to choose one language and stick with it unless you achieve a meaningful fluency. For French and German, you can read Language Institutes in Bangalore.

Difficult to say. You can visit both the Institutes, meet the faculty, take the feedback from existing students, and then take the decision. If both are equally good, pick the nearest one to your place and affordable. Good Luck!

They have just moved into new modern bigger premises located in Basaveshwaranagar, Bangalore. They also provide work opportunities in Japan and do all the translations for your Visa.
Modified and Approved your self-promotion. You can provide vital information, but don’t indulge in such activity in the future. Self-promotion and links are strictly NOT allowed here.
Hey, I have completed my 12th and currently working with a legal team as an executive. I was always keen on learning Japanese and Korean languages but never thought as a career option but recently got to know that this is one fantastic option to consider. Please guide me should I take up this as a career will this help me in getting a good life also my main question is what do we need any degree to be eligible to write that exam and get a certificate
While there are plenty of possibilities as a career in language, it is no more an easy choice. It takes a long time to acquire a language from a professional perspective. If you wish, you can choose one between Japanese and Korean, and enroll in a nearby reputed learning center. Good Luck!
Hi sir, my son is studying in BCA (first year). Please suggest us which foreign language is good for his field as German or Japanese, and suggest me good institute for him in Pune.
Both languages are equally good. For German, try Goethe-Institut and For Japanese – LetsTalk Academy and SIFIL are two options though no big Japanese Institutes in Pune as far as I am aware. Check out — Language Institutes in Pune.
I am a BSc graduate and I am a beginner to Japanese. I am looking for jobs. Which one is best for providing job opportunities and what salaries are like?
I didn’t get you. Are you looking Jobs related to Japanese? It is not possible to get a job on the basis of beginners level Japanese. You can continue studying till Advanced level.
I am looking for an institute near Indiranagar in Bangalore for learning Japanese. Can you suggest any around the area? Thanks.
You can check the address with the respective centres and visit a few as per the distance and your convenience.
I have just passed out my 12th standard and I want to choose my career in Japanese language. Will I get good career opportunities in this field?
Employment wise, Japanese is probably the best language amongst east Asian languages. It offers a wide array of professional options. You can grab exciting job opportunities after learning Japanese till Advanced level like N1 or MA in Japanese.
kindly give me a good suggestion for Learning centers Japanese classes in Bangalore. because I had tried to Few institute for N5 classes but i didn’t seem there process is sufficient for N5 level. Tried with Navis but there executive faculty was not responding properly. I want to attempt N5 exam upcoming session (july 2019).
You can try a few other Japanese learning centers like Sayuri, Sakuraa, JLS, etc. You can also try crash-courses or individual classes by hiring a Japanese teacher through local classified like UrbanPro, JustDial, LearnPick, etc. I’m sure with proper guidance; you will clear JLPT N5.
I really Appreciate your valuable Suggestion. So as per your suggested JLPT Institute List. So, I’d decided to take classes from Sakuraa Nihongo Resource Center. I was visit there & had words with few Students which are preparing for N4 level. They Said that teacher is Good & several other things also.
I’m glad this article helped you out.
I am confused about which institute. Is it suitable for the Japanese language? I had contacted both the Navis and Sakura institute. Navis N5 duration 140 hours whereas Sakura N5 duration 80 hours. Which one is best can you suggest to me?
Why not visit both centers, and then make an informed decision? The number of hours shouldn’t be the only criteria.
You can contact silverpeak Global private limited, in Jayanagar 4th Stage. They are providing Japanese language classes.
Which one I should select (a) Japanese Language School, R T Nagar, Bangalore or (b) Inlingua Jayanagar for studying JLPT N5 classes.
Kindly advice. Thanks.
It is difficult to say which one is better. You can visit the shortlisted names and then take the decision. Usually (not always), an institute dedicated to only Japanese teaching is better than the one offering multiple language courses. Thus, the institutes like Sakuraa, Navis, Sayuri, JLS, Nili are better options in bangalore.
i am B.com LL.B graduate and a house wife. I want to learn the foreign language which provide me career startup. At the age of 37 i will learn foreign language but can i get placed? Please guide me sir
Age is no deterrent to learning. You can get a good job if your proficiency level is good enough. Generally, it will take three years to reach the Advanced level, and only 5%-10% achieve this. My suggestion would be to take Japanese as a hobby and see where you stand after one year. Then you will able to make the right decision regarding future prospects.
Learning Japanese In Japan (Any Good reputed School) is more effective than learning in India? Will it be a clever idea to send my son to Japan after 12th to clear JLPT?
That will depend on the purpose of Learning Japanese. JLPT does not assure an employer that one can communicate well since there is no speaking section. Since for most of the Japanese experts jobs in overseas market, native Japanese speakers are preferred. Thus, there is no major advantage in learning Japanese from Japan. There are some good Japanese institute in Bangalore and he can surely complete JLPT N1 in 3-5 years. It is better to pursue bachelor degree from India along with Japanese. Then may be he can go abroad for master degree.
My son is in 10th std and appearing for N4. He is very good in English too.
What career advice would you like to give to him where he could be benefited with this language? Thanks in advance.
If he has the interest, he should continue studying Japanese. He should aim for N1 in next 3-4 years. After 12th, he can pursue BA (H) in any language from top Universities like JNU, Pune University, etc. With high proficiency & merit, He might earn scholarship to study abroad in future. He has time to master at least 2 languages in next 7 years! Good Luck!
