2. Chowgule College in Margao
The Parvatibai Chowgule College of Arts & Science (Chowgule College), located in Margao, South Goa, is another excellent option for Portuguese enthusiasts.
They also have an MoU with the University of Porto in Portugal for academic and cultural exchange.
The university offers Portuguese courses at three levels through the Center for Portuguese Language & Culture (CPLC): Basic, Elementary, Intermediate, and Advanced.
In collaboration with Instituto Camões, each program comprises 120 hours of learning, typically completed in five months. The batches begin in January and July.
Since 2012, CPLC at Chowgule College also offered a Bachelor’s degree course in Portuguese.

Affiliated with Portugal’s Ministry of External Affairs, the cultural center supports promoting the Portuguese language worldwide.
In addition to New Delhi, Instituto Camões has a branch (Centre of Portuguese Language and Culture) in Panaji, Goa.

The Govind Ramnath Kare College of Law in Margao offers a certificate program in Portuguese with Legal Inputs.
The Indo-Portuguese Friendship Society, independently or in collaboration with organizations such as Fundacao Cidade de Lisboa, offers Portuguese classes in other parts of Goa.

Hello sir this is Faraz from Bhopal Madhya Pradesh. I want to learn the Portuguese language as I am keen to know more about the culture and traditions of the country but for that, I need to learn the language as it is the best way to know about any region. I don’t have any knowledge of this language and want to learn right from the alphabet to speaking it fluently but I don’t know where to start.
