Top 3 Spanish Institutes in Delhi
Finding the best Spanish institute in Delhi is not an easy task.
Several institutes provide quality Spanish language training and prepare for the DELE, SIELE, and other Spanish proficiency tests.
I suggest you join the one which has got good credibility and delivers results.
I usually recommend people to join a language-specific learning center since the focus and environment are ideal for the language learner.
The ranking criteria are broadly based on five factors — reputation, accreditations, the structure & quality of the course, track record, and price.
1. Instituto Hispania, Panchsheel Park
If you’re after the Spanish learning center in Delhi, look no further than Instituto Hispania in Delhi.
Established in 1997, it is not only one of the oldest Spanish Institutes in Delhi.
It is also known to provide an exceptional and high-quality class for the students to achieve a higher Spanish ability.
When it comes to quality, the Instituto Hispania beats all the other Spanish learning centers in Delhi. No surprise, they are number one in the capital city.
Instituto Hispania’s entire program is divided into three broad categories, which are further divided into a total of 8 levels, ranging from Hispanic Uno (A1) to Hispanic Ocho (C1).
It adheres to the standards established by the CEFR and International Spanish tests like DELE, SIELE, and DIE.
It is also one of the authorized SIELE centers in Delhi.
Each level’s fee is around ₹ 13,500, which is quite attractive compared to excessively expensive Instituto Cervantes.
Through their Spanish program, you can also choose to combine your studies with various cultural activities.
The native and experienced trainers, fully equipped classrooms, exclusive study material, effective teaching method, friendly environment, prime location, and affordable price can easily prove why it is worth it!
Congratulations to the well-deserved first place on our list of best Spanish Institutes in Delhi!

2. The Instituto Cervantes, New Delhi
Affiliated to the Government of Spain, Instituto Cervantes is another popular name in Spanish teaching.
The highly skilled and experienced trainers at this Spanish Institute are certified and provide excellent learning skills to students.
It is also the only center authorized to conducts the Spanish DELE exam in Delhi.
The entire Spanish course is divided into 20 levels, namely A1 (1.1 & 1.2), A2 (2.1, 2.2, & 2.3), B1 (1.1, 1.2, & 1.3), B2 (2.1, 2.2, 2.3, & 2.4), C1 (1.1, 1.2, 1.3, & 1.4), and C2 (2.1, 2.2, 2.3, & 2.4).
The duration of each level is 60 Hours (2 months), and the fee is INR 14,500 for weekdays and INR 15,500 for weekend courses.
While the quality is usually good, two things go against Instituto Cervantes — The costly fee and the course’s long duration.
It will take at least three years to gain DELE C1, and the price will be close to 3-4 Lakhs.
If you’re concerned about high fees and course duration, you can join Instituto Hispania.

Hi,
This is Vikas. I am bachelor’s holder in the Hospitality industry with experience in hospitality of 8 years. I want to learn the Spanish language to work on a cruise ship in my field as language will add to my profile, but I am looking for a short-term course through which I can learn to speak the Spanish language. Kindly suggest me the name of the Institute in Delhi
Many institutes can help you learn Spanish in a short duration. A few names are mentioned too.
Hi, I’m a working women and i want to learn spanish but my english is not good so can i learn spanish without knowing English?
If you can write this, it means you know some English. And that much is enough to learn Spanish.
Hi there,
I’m in 12th and I want to pursue BA in Spanish at JNU or DU. Can you tell me how to prepare for its entrance exam i.e. CUET?
Check the syllabus, refer to the previous year’s QPs, and buy some books that can help you prepare.
I am doing my B.A with Hindi Hons. so can i learn Spanish? And I can get a job in the future. I mean there is no problem with having BA course in Hindi, is it? Please tell me so that I can take my admission to any institute. And can I read for M.A. Spanish?
Yes, you can learn Spanish and get a job in the future. BA in Hindi won’t make any significant difference. For MA in Spanish, you need to crack the entrance that requires knowledge similar to BA in Spanish.
Hi, I am an ayurvedic doctor and already working. I want to change my field and do not want to work as a doctor. Could you please suggest to me how to proceed further with a proper degree in Spanish for professional use and what prospects do I have in the future if I switch to teaching or translating?
You can do any long-term Spanish course, preferably from any private institute. And once you have achieved an advanced level, you can start exploring jobs requiring Spanish.
Hello Vikash. I really like your blogs. They’re very informative. I want to learn Spanish. I’m from Kolkata. Will you please tell me the institutions that offer online classes? I’m pursuing this as a career. I’m already proficient in English. But going to classes in this pandemic is a bit difficult. So I’m in search of institutions that’ll teach me to be proficient in Spanish with International Accreditation. A good placement cell is also a mandate. Thank you for helping me out.
You can contact Instituto Hispania and Instituto Cervantes, though none of them provide active placement.
Thank You so much. That’s a really big help.
Hello Sir,
If I’ll do BA Hons English from SOL, DU and B2 level Spanish from Instituto Hispania, will I be eligible for MA in Spanish at JNU?
Yes, you will be eligible to take the JNU entrance test. But you have to prepare well as seats are few.
Hello Sir,
If I’ll do Spanish at Hispania Institute, do I need a Graduation degree or not? And for MA in Spanish they do demand a UG degree so will they consider Spanish from an institute or not?
You should pursue graduation irrespective of what language and where you are studying. There are two reasons for that — 1) You can’t do a master’s with a UG degree 2) Most jobs require at least a bachelor’s degree. For MA in Spanish, you need a UG degree and Spanish knowledge similar to BA. It doesn’t matter how and where you studied Spanish.
Buenas noches, senor, soy Vishal, tengo una pregunta.
I have completed my graduation in Pol. Science (h) in 2018. And I have done a self-study in Spanish. Moreover, I can communicate in Spanish. The question is here I want to be a Spanish teacher (quiero ser profesor de español). Should I go to DU or any government university for a degree or these institutions which you have mentioned? Which one should I consider first? Is it possible for me to become a government teacher or translator if I learn from any institute or government university is mandatory? Because as far as I know, the degree is a must for MA and all. Will Cervantes and Hispania do the same?
I have many questions to ask, but I don’t know how to. I hope you got me. What I mean is here, to become a government employee, what should I do?
You can become a Spanish teacher or translator, irrespective of where you study. So, you can study at Cervantes or Hispania. You don’t need a degree, and diplomas like DELE or SIELE are accepted everywhere. After the B2 level, you can give the entrance for MA in Spanish, but this isn’t mandatory for most jobs. Government jobs are very few, and the requirement varies.
Can you tell me more about MA entrance exams in Spanish after B2 level?
What do you want to know? You can check the sample or previous year’s question paper and take the MA entrance for Spanish conducted by various universities like JNU, DU, etc.
Hey! I am from Delhi and currently working in bpo. I want to learn Spanish and appear for the DELE exam level A1. Cervantes is extremely expensive however I confirmed that Instituto Hispania only prepares for the SIELE exam and not for the DELE exam. Please suggest which option will be good in this case?
Hispania prepares for both DELE and SIELE. It is an authorized testing center for SIELE, whereas Cervantes conducts both DELE and SIELE. Nearly all reputed Spanish teaching centers prepare for both the exam. So, pick as per location, reputation, and budget.
Hello, I am a student of 2nd year and i wanted to learn Spanish language, as i was planning to move abroad after my graduation. But I am a bit confused as to where should I prefer learning this language, as in which institute in Delhi?
Instituto Cervantes and Instituto Hispania are two good choices.
Hi sir I’m a postgraduate in English and I wish to learn a foreign language either French or Spanish for better job prospects. Plz, let me know some good institutions and fee structures that explain the different levels and job opportunities associated with the same.
You can consider Cervantes and Hispania, and the fee structure is mentioned in this article. For job opportunities, I have written several detailed ones. You can search on this blog.
Hi sir. I have completed B2 diploma and B1 dele from Cervantes. I have done B.A program in graduation from Delhi University. I will be continuing with my Spanish studies and will be doing C1. Now 1. Can you suggest to me any course that I can do apart from Spanish that can be an added benefit in the corporate sector? 2. Suggest me some good job opportunities in the field of Spanish and some companies.
1. MBA 2. You can work in a variety of fields as these days Spanish is required everywhere. SpanYou can try companies like Amazon, Accenture, HCL, or some export houses, educational institutions, translation agencies, etc.
Hola, Señor!
I’ve a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Delhi. I am pursuing a Master’s degree in Political Science from IGNOU (distance education) and have just completed level A1.1 from Cervantes (I plan on going ahead with Spanish till proficiency level). Also, I’d a good learning experience over there, but I have some queries:
1. Regarding the scope of employing my knowledge in Political Science (which a vast discipline per se) with Spanish.
2. Is it possible to switch institutes (at any level)?
3. If yes, considering duration and quality to be the main factors, should I continue learning from Cervantes or switch to Instituto Hispania? (latter’s fees is pretty much the same, after including study material and taxes).
4. Is it imperative to pursue MA in Spanish or DELE B2/C1 is sufficient for prospects?
Gracias!
1. Although some opportunities might exist, but the combination offers minimal job choices.
2. Yes, but you might have to take an orientation test for lateral entry.
3. No, Instituto Hispania fees is nearly half and offer quality education. Cervantes offers A1-C1 through 16 levels, whereas Hispania has a total of 8 for the same. In the end, your Spanish abilities and DELE diplomas matter, and not the place where you study. So, if you’re ok with cost, continue with Cervantes, otherwise Hispania.
4. C1 is sufficient for most jobs.
Buena Suerte, PB 🙂
Hello Vikash,
Greetings!
I am working for the last 5-6 years in IT Sector in Delhi/NCR. Recently I joined a Columbian-based org. They have offices and business in Latin America. My mostly Co-workers (technical positioned) don’t know how to speak in English and know only Spanish. So, to communicate with them and boost up my career (or you can say add a language Spanish in Resume), which path/institute you would like to suggest (Make sure in mind firstly I have to do my job with secondary these learning of Spanish). Please suggest.
Thanks in advance !!
You can learn Spanish by finding a teacher or joining any institutes. Most of them are offering evening and weekend classes. Since these days, all are online, you can learn from any educational institution, irrespective of location. Later, you can take the DELE or SIELE exam to gauge your Spanish proficiency level and earn an international diploma.
Greetings Sir!
I have completed M.Sc. in Ecology and Environment Studies in the year 2018. My work usually involves extensive field visits as a researcher and though I enjoy them, it’s contractual and temporary. I wish to bend my career towards more stable work preferences. I was thinking of learning Spanish language and enrolling myself in Instituto Hispania. I understand it will take at least 2 years before I can start making career choices in the areas demanding Spanish language but I am a little skeptical if my previous degrees will hinder my growth into the same. Please suggest, If I am on the right path because I don’t want to do it as a hobby but make it a serious professional choice.
Your existing degrees will neither be an obstacle nor advantageous in a career involving Spanish. That also means you have to start from scratch and solely depend on Spanish to find a job. Of course, this is possible, but it takes time to gain a higher competency level and relevant experience. I’d suggest adding more skills as per the current job market trend, along with the Spanish language to make a successful and stable career. And yes, Instituto Hispania is a fabulous choice!
Thank you so much for your reply, Sir. Can you please suggest a skill or two that would complement the Spanish language in paving a better path for a successful career?
Of all the choices, it would be difficult for me to suggest something specific. You can check the current job market trend, the future, your interest, and feasibility, and then make an informed decision. I’m sure you will find something meaningful down the line.
My sister wants to learn Spanish, but we come from a rural background. So She won’t be able to study in Delhi. I’m thinking about the online Paid Course. Can you please tell me which online platform is best, and can I rely on it? I don’t anything about its procedure.
You can find online tutor or contact any institute for online classes. These days, nearly every center is offering online Spanish courses.
Hello sir, I have done level C1 from Instituto Cervantes and I have DELE B2 as well. I have done a bachelor’s in commerce (b.com) and want to continue studying Spanish. I want to do level C2 as well and I just wanted to know if I can appear for MA in Spanish. One more question what is the procedure to become a Spanish teacher at Instituto Cervantes?
Thanks.
Yes, you can try for an MA in Spanish. B2 is enough to crack the entrance. After C2, you can apply for a teaching job at Instituto Cervantes. They have a specific procedure, and you can get in touch with them.
Hi Sir,
I am an MBA with 5 years of Corporate & FMCG Sales Experience. With the fast-changing market dynamics, I have noticed there are far better opportunities if a foreign language is combined with Sales Experience. Kindly suggest if I am correct and if I can look forward to a Sales career in a foreign country or in India with a command on the Spanish language.
Yes, the knowledge of Spanish can enhance your career possibilities in India and abroad.
Hi sir, I have done BA Hons in the Spanish language from Delhi University and I have SIELE oral certification. I’m having good experience in the travel industry for almost 3 years. Due to family problems, I did not continue MA Spanish started working early without knowing what would be the later consequences of working in a travel company as well I wanted to make my language skills good.
I often got ill due to night shifts so I thought to change my career to become a Spanish language teacher in school. I’m giving home tuitions from the last two years. I recently resigned from my job. I emailed 10 schools in Delhi and in Gurgaon if there are having any Spanish teacher vacancy but no one replies. Please give some suggestions or help which will be useful to find jobs easily in schools. You could email me.
I can understand your situation. Don’t worry! Sooner or later, you will find something good enough. You can also explore possibilities as online teaching or any teaching job in any institute. I will send you an email if I find something meaningful for you.
Sir, I’m in the 12th class and my board exam is very close. I’m planning for my future and someone suggests me that in the Spanish language there are lots of option for my future job. So the question is if I fail in the 12th exam can I do this course from a private institute. And the private institute is providing jobs? And can I get a 6 to 7 lakh package without doing an MA in Spanish? Please explain it in deep.
Thank you, sir!
Instead of thinking about the future and salary package, you should really be focusing on your board examination. Why do you think you will fail? Be positive, prepare well, and good luck. And Yes, you can be successful with a decent package without pursuing an MA in Spanish. Very few placements are offered by private institutes.
Hello sir,
I have done my B2 level from Instituto Cervantes. Can I do my Ph.D. from Delhi university?
For a Ph.D. in Spanish, minimum eligibility criteria is MA or M.Phil in Spanish. First, you should try for MA, and B2 will help you prepare for the entrance test.
I want to do M.Phil/Ph.D. in the Spanish language. Am i eligible after completing the course from Mundo Latino level ML9? Or I need to complete masters first?
For M.Phil or Ph.D., a Master’s degree is compulsory. Besides, for a Ph.D. in Spanish, you need an excellent command over Spanish literature, culture, history, and civilization along with relevant experience. Without these, it will be challenging to clear the entrance test.
Sir, i want to pursue a career in language. So i decided to learn the Spanish language, and i chose the Cervantes Institute. But it’s fee is quite high and the other two suggested by you are far away from reaching me. As i searched so, i came to know about the school of Spanish, which is an institute in GTB NAGAR, Delhi. So it is right to start my classes with this institute?
You can visit and enroll if you feel the institute concerned is good enough. However, i don’t recommend many such institutes because they don’t tick all the right boxes on my checklist.
Sir, how is the school of Spanish? They say they provide jobs after completion of b2 level. Is it a good institute?
There are better options in Delhi like Instituto Hispania or even Cervantes. No institute provide any job. They only forward the company requirement to existing students. In the end, you have to appear for the interview, and based on your skills, you will be selected.
Hi sir, I want to learn portugués language so which institute is very good?
Instituto Camões in Chanakyapuri.
Hello sir!
I’m looking forward to joining Instituto Hispania & I was just curious to know –
1) after leaning this language what kind of jobs we can pursue in future “in abroad” instead of India? 2) Is an MA in Spanish necessary to get a better job? 3) is Latin Spanish different than Spain Spanish?
Thank you!
1) It is difficult to get a job abroad solely based on Spanish skills. You need some other in-demand qualifications along with relevant experience. 2) MA is not necessary 3) While there are distinctions between several Spanish dialects in the world, the difference, however, is not significant. After learning the standard variant, you can easily communicate with south and central American natives.
Sir, please tell me which institute is good for the Spanish language?
Instituto Hispania in Panchsheel Park is a fabulous option.
Hi Sir,
I am working in MNC Noida. I have masters in Commerce, and I need to improve my knowledge, which one-course good for me in the Spanish language?
It is difficult to suggest without knowing the purpose of learning Spanish and whether you have any prior knowledge.
I’ve completed my 12th currently studying Spanish from an institute. If I complete my B2 Spanish from DELE can I do an MA in Spanish? Or Is it necessary to do BA honors first then MA?
Without graduation, MA is not possible. To be eligible for MA in Spanish, you have to choose between Bachelor in any subject + DELE B2 or BA in Spanish.
Instituto Cervantes is affiliated withe the Government of Spain but Instituto Hispania is not. Will it affect my career prospects in India and abroad?
Not at all. Whether you study at Cervantes or Hispania, you still have to appear for DELE or SIELE. Both exams are recognized by the Spanish government and accepted by nearly all the companies. These exams are open to all, irrespective of where you study. In fact, Instituto Hispania is an authorized SIELE center in India.
At the end of the day, you get a job on the basis of your level of engagement with Spanish and Instituto Hispania fits the criteria. Cervantes’s fee is unreasonably high with no extra advantage. The quality of Spanish teaching at Instituto Hispania is great and offers a real value of money.
Sir, am I eligible for an MA in Spanish after 1-year diploma from a private institute or if not what should be the plan to be eligible?
You are definitely eligible unless there is some University-specific requirement. Having said that, the 1-year Diploma is not enough to clear the MA entrance test. You need Spanish knowledge equivalent to a 3-year Advanced Diploma / BA or at least DELE B2 if studying at any private institute. This will take 2-3 years. Since the number of seats is less. Thus, you need to prepare well. ¡Buena Suerte!
Hello sir,
I have Done Spanish Diploma from BVB New Delhi, now I am confused that what I have to do because I don’t have lots of money. I want to do a Spanish job in Delhi but still not found.
I understand your situation. You can make a profile on various job portals and apply for any new entry-level Spanish jobs in the BPO industry. I’m sure you’ll find something soon. And when you have the opportunity, continue with Spanish.
Hello sir,
I want to ask that as I am not fluent in English but I can understand. Can I go for an institute like Cervantes and Hispania in Delhi? Please suggest.
Yes. If you understand some lower Intermediate level English, it is enough to pursue a Spanish course. You can go with Instituto Hispania since it is better than Instituto Cervantes for three reasons. Cervantes’s fee is unreasonably high, lacking personal attention, at least in most cases, and the course duration is too long, with too many unnecessary levels. Good Luck!
Hello Sir
I have completed my BA and I am going to take admission for MBA Finance or Tourism Management but I am also interested to learn Spanish. I’m very confused about what should I do. I have experience in Domestic and International BPO and also learn Spanish. Please give me the best platform to build my future.
Thanks.
Since there are more Jobs that require an MBA degree. Thus, go with MBA. You can learn Spanish part-time or in future also.
Sir, I have completed my graduation in tourism have some knowledge about Japanese language but now I want to pursue another language thinking about Spanish. How many years it will be to get a job as I have only 2 years. Is it possible? please guide.
Yes. It is definitely possible to learn Spanish in 2 years from the job perspective. You can enroll in LanguageNext, Sector-18, Noida or Instituto Hispania, Panchsheel Park, New Delhi. Both centre covers the entire Spanish (From Beginners to all the way up to Advanced level within 2 years). These Spanish courses will allow you to take your career in a number of different directions. Whatever you decide, you can target for B2 of DELE or SIELE.
Sir, I recently passed out in 12 class and my percentage is 48% only. I am interested in Spanish but I don’t know where I should do this language? Please tell me the best institute and colleges in Delhi.
Part-time Spanish courses at any College is usually suitable for existing students of the same college. Only a few are good, and getting admission is difficult due to high cut-off marks. You can join any private institute like Instituto Hispania in Panchsheel Park.
After completing 6-7 levels, you will eglibile for numerous new openings. You can also appear for SIELE exam to check your Spanish level.
Sir, I recently passed out in 12 class but my percent 48% and I am very interested in Spanish language but I have no idea about college and institute in Delhi so please tell me how to find the best institute.
There are plenty of good options in Delhi. You can try Instituto Hispania, a reputed Spanish centre in Panchsheel Park.
Hi sir I complete 12th in 2016 now I decided to learn Spanish language. Which is good for my career university or institute? which is best and more option for best jobs.
Both options are fine as far as employment opportunities are concerned. You can pick either a 3-year Advanced Diploma from DU or Jamia or try any reputed institute like Instituto Hispania with a goal to complete DELE B2.
Hi sir I complete 12th in 2016 now I decided to learn Spanish language. Which is good for my career and offer more and best jobs – Spanish language course at university or institute.
Well, you don’t get the language job solely based on degrees and certifications. Knowledge or experience matters more! You can try a BA and then maybe an MA in Spanish from DU or JNU. The fees are affordable, and you will also earn a degree. The courses offered by reputed private institutes are usually better than part-time courses in any College.
If you go through private institutes, it will be a little expensive, and you still need a bachelor’s degree from any University. You can earn an international certification by appearing DELE exam. From the job perspective, both are fine.

You can join any reputed institute with a goal to complete DELE B2 in the next 2-3 years. Instituto Cervantes, Instituto Hispania, Mundo Latino are three good options in Delhi. After completing B2, you will be ready for JNU or DU entrance test for MA in Spanish.

It’s never too late to learn Spanish. As per your situation, you can enroll yourself in any reputed Spanish Institute in Delhi /NCR. For better future prospects, try to complete DELE B2/C1 in the next 2-3 years! !Buena Suerte! (Good Luck).
Dear Sir,
My Name Durbesh kumar and i am still working in bpo sector and i want to learn Spanish so please tell me best institute in delhi for spanish language and please tell me maximum time to learn spanish and what will be fees.
Cervantes, Mundo Latino, and Hispania are the top three choices in Delhi. It will take a minimum of 2 years to complete DELE B2 i.e., Upper-Intermediate level. Fees will depend upon the institute. For Upper Intermediate level – The costs will be roughly between 1 to 1.5 Lakh in these three institutes.
Can a person learn two languages ( Spanish & Japanese) simultaneously?
Yes, but try to learn one at a time. The danger of confusing them would be too great. In addition, you may not able to give each language the attention it deserves.
Hi sir,
I’ve completed c1 level in spanish language from Instituto Hispania. i want to continue my studies in this language. Which college and which course i should go for.
I guess Diploma Superior? Have you appeared for DELE C1 (exam conducted by Instituto Cervantes)? If No, then you should try to check your Spanish proficiency. If you have completed a bachelor’s degree, you should prepare for an MA in Spanish. JNU forms will be available in next few days and entrance exams in December whereas the DU admission process will start in May 2019.
sir I have completed my 12th from nios and thinking of Intensive Advanced Diploma Course in Spanish from an institute in Delhi the course duration is 1 year. Will I be eligible for ma in Spanish after completing this course?
NO. For MA in Spanish – Minimum eligibility is bachelor degree and proficiency in Spanish (equivalent to Advanced Diploma or DELE B2). I’m not sure about quality if they complete intensive advanced Diploma in 1 year. It is better to join some reputed Spanish institute in Delhi like Cervantes, Mundo Latino or Instituto Hispania and try to complete B2 in next 2-3 years along with your graduation.
Hi Sir,
I m working in one of the Top MNC by holding 9 years of experience in MNC. Would like to study Spanish, could you please help in guiding the best institute to study Spanish in Delhi / Noida.
In Noida – LanguageNext, (Sector 18).

Hi Sir, I have done A2 level from Cervantes and Diploma Avanzado from Hispania, I am a graduate in Tourism Studies from IGNOU. It’s been me 4 years working in Spanish Domain with different call-center jobs. Looking for something permanent and in day time now, also want to pursue further studies according to my qualifications. What would you suggest? My phone no. is [Hidden]
Call centre jobs are OK if you are fresher and want to practice Spanish or want to make some money. However, in the long run, The career is neither stable nor lucrative. You should try full-time regular job in the field of Travel, Tourism & Hospitality sector, or MNC, or any Export houses. In addition, you should continue Spanish and try to Complete DELE C1 in a year or two.
Sir, I have done diploma in spanish from DU. I have completed BA honours in English from DU. Am I eligible to apply for MA in Spanish and also how can I get scholarship to study abroad through the programmes under Hispanic studies. And how much it will cost me?
While you are eligible to appear for entrance exam, Diploma is not enough to clear entrance test for MA in Spanish. Knowledge equivalent to DELE B2 or Advanced Diploma is required. You can prepare and give the exam next year. Arts faculty through Romance & Germanic department offers various scholarship and exchange programs.
Sir i have only one query. Doing BA (Hons.) from DU / JNU / JAMIA or from instituto Cervantes? Which would be better for future regarding jobs?
BA (Hons.) is better for two reasons. 1) You don’t have to do graduation separately, and 2) Eligible to seek direct admission to the M.A. in Spanish program. Jamia does not offer BA (Hons.) in Spanish. DU admission dates are over. JNU entrance forms will be available in September.
For career prospective, It will not make any significant difference whether you complete DELE B2/C1 from Cervantes or BA (Hons.) from any University. If you’ve already done your graduation or pursuing currently, go with Cervantes. Otherwise, you can try for entrance exam.
Actually I’ve done my graduation and was planning to go for the east asian language from department of East Asian studies (p.g. diploma in mandarin)
The last date is over for the 2018-2019 session. You can try next year or maybe you can join any private institute. Read – Mandarin courses in Delhi.
Sir among all which institute you would suggest for spanish language with respect to quality teaching and job oppotunities??
Cervantes or Mundo Latino or Instituto Hispania. Visit all 3 centres and decide as per your liking. No institute offers placement or Job. What they offer is information about few opening to 100’s of students. At the end, you have to find a job on own based on spanish proficiency and other skills.
Placement campus is a regular feature at Instituto Hispania. Usually around 40 students with B2 level attend the drive for companies like Metlife, Amazon or Accenture.
Thanks for the update 🙂
I’ve done advanced diploma in spanish from DU. Can i apply for MA in spanish?
Yes if you have completed graduation. Last date is over for 2018-20 session. You can apply next year in the month of May or Join any private institute.

Yes. Possible. You can try a few Universities in Spanish for a Master’s degree. You can do a part-time job along with higher studies. After completing a PG degree, you can search for a Full-time job in Spain or any country. DU (Arts Faculty – Department of Germanic and Romance Studies) and JNU (CSPILAS) offer BA in Spanish.
Thanku sir…I’ve one more que… Approx how much it cost for study MA in spanish in abroad?
Every College and University has different fees structure. For Master degree in Spanish, it will be between 10L to 20L.
I have completed b1 level from cervantes and right now I m pursuing diploma pre superior frm hispania institute. I want to apply for MA or advanced diploma. Is it useful or I should opt dele b2? what will be contents fr MA and advanced diploma?
DELE B2 is better than Advanced Diploma from DU or Jamia whereas MA in Spanish has more weightage than DELE B2. MA courses focus more on Culture, Civilization, History, literature and linguistics to become college professor, researcher, translator, etc. JNU (CSPILAS) and DU (Arts faculty) offer MA in Spanish through entrance exam. You can apply for next session 2019-2021. After completing B2, you will be ready for written & viva-voce exam. ¡Buena suerte!
Sir after doing diploma where I can apply for jobs? Is there any online form for the placement?
Diploma from where? If DU Colleges, then the Diploma is not enough. Try to complete at least an Advanced Diploma or DELE B2. There are various job portals where you can apply for various jobs related to Spanish. Proficiency in Spanish is a way to get a decent job in MNC, BPO, KPO, Export-houses, etc.
Sir, I am working in an IT sector. I want to do some short-term Spanish course but only on weekends. Which institute is offering courses in Delhi as per my requirement and would be best among all?
For Spanish classes in Delhi, you can choose between Instituto Cervantes (C.P.), Mundo Latino (Kotla South-Ex) and Instituto Hispania (Panchsheel Park). Cervantes and Mundo Latino are affiliated to Embassy of Spain and Peru in India respectively whereas Instituto Hispania is one of the oldest Spanish language institutes in Delhi. All three are good. You can visit all three centres and decide which one to choose from.
